Airline – Citrix Upgrades

Designed and implemented an upgrade/migration path to take a former greenfield deployment from Presentation Server 4.5 to XenApp 5.0, then to XenApp 6.5. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Native American Government – Remote Computing

Designed and implemented a computing architecture based on Citrix XenApp, Citrix Web Interface, and Citrix NetScaler using Access Gateway to support over 100 concurrent employees spread across the community. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Identity Theft – NetScaler/SSL VPN Redesign

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture using the Citrix Dual-Farm/Dual-Zone reference architecture. This implementation included four pairs (8) NetScaler devices split across two datacenters.  One pair outside in an unsecured DMZ the other in a secured DMZ internally at each datacenter.  The project leveraged GSLB (Global Server LoadBalancing) both inside and outside for full environment failover.  Additionally, SSL VPN, Access Gateway, Double-Hop SSL, and SSL Offload was deployed.  All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and Citrix infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Cosmetics Industry – NetScaler Redesign

Designed and implemented a new load-balancing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler using the SSL Offload, integrated caching, and content switching.  This implementation included two pairs (4) NetScaler devices split across two datacenters.  The project leveraged GSLB (Global Server LoadBalancing) for full environment failover.  All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and web infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Public Utility – High-Security Web App Load Balancing and Citrix Access Redesign

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture using the Citrix Dual-Farm/Dual-Zone reference architecture. This implementation included two pairs (4) NetScaler SDX 11500 devices split across two datacenters with multiple NetScaler Instances.  Access Gateway, Double-Hop SSL, SSL Offload, and redirection were deployed to support access to XenApp, MS Lync, MS OWA/Exchange, MS SharePoint, and customized industry applications to support over 5000 employees.  All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture leveraging SSL Offload, content switching, application firewalls, compression, and redirection were deployed to support a new ecommerce site with over 1.7M customers. All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Public Utility – Web Farm Front-end

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture to provide front-end services to a highly utilized customer portal. This implementation included one pairs (2) NetScaler MPX 8200 devices.  Content Switching, Application Firewall, SSL Offload and redirection were deployed to support access to a new customer portal that would be utilized by over 1.5M unique visits per month.  All technologies were deployed to comply and interface with all security policies, current applications, networks, and infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture using the Citrix Dual-Farm/Dual-Zone reference architecture. Designed and currently implementing a computing architecture based on Citrix XenDesktop 7.6, Citrix StoreFront, and Citrix NetScaler in a Citrix Dual-Farm/Dual-Zone architecture split across two datacenters using Nexus OTV to support over 9000 concurrent employees. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Semiconductor – Mobile Web Farm Front-end

Designed and implemented a front-end architecture for global corporate mobile applications leveraging Citrix NetScaler. The project included the use of SSL Offload, Rewrite and Responder Policies, Content Switching, Compression, and advanced Load Balancing.  Other projects included interception of client to back-end server communications to inspect and modify web page bodies in order to support migration of a hard-coded non-secure application to operate over SSL.  We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Satellite Communications Manufacturer – XenDesktop and XenApp 7.5

Designed and implemented XenDesktop 7.5 for global corporate desktop and application virtualization leveraging Citrix NetScaler. The project included the use of XenDesktop 7.5 for VDI and also desktop streaming with Citrix Provisioning Services.  Additionally XenApp 7.5 was deployed to provide application virtualization for fat, VDI, and streamed client.  Citrix NetScaler was deployed to provide SSL Offload, Load Balancing, and Access Gateway.  We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Hospitality – Remote Computing

Designed a computing architecture based on Citrix XenDesktop 7.6, Citrix StoreFront, and Citrix NetScaler using NetScaler Gateway to support over 10,000 concurrent employees spread across the globe. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Higher Education – Web Farm Front-end

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture using the Citrix Dual-Farm/Dual-Zone reference architecture. This implementation included one pair (2) NetScaler SDX 11515 devices with multiple NetScaler Instances in a single datacenter with a single NetScaler VPX200 in the alternate datacenter.  Double-Hop SSL, SSL Offload, and redirection were deployed to support access to MS Lync, MS OWA/Exchange, MS SharePoint, SQL Load Balancing, and customized industry applications to support over 25000 students and employees.  All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Multi-Level Marketing – Mobile Web Farm Front-end

Designed and implemented a front-end architecture for global corporate/partner mobile applications leveraging Citrix NetScaler to support over 1M users on a monthly basis. The project included the use of SSL Offload, Rewrite and Responder Policies, Content Switching, Compression, and advanced Load Balancing including SQL Server.  Other projects included interception of client to back-end server communications.  We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Retail Auto Sales – High-Security Web App Load Balancing and Citrix Architecture Design/Deployment

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture using the Dual-Zone reference architecture. This implementation included a pair (2) NetScaler SDX 11530 devices with multiple NetScaler Instances to replace a Pair of Citrix MPX8200, 12 F5 Partitions, and 14 Cisco ACE Contexts.  NetScaler Gateway, Double-Hop SSL, SSL Offload, and redirection were deployed to support access to the newly Designed XenDesktop 7.6, MS Lync, MS OWA/Exchange, MS SharePoint, and customized industry applications to support over 5000 employees.  All technologies were designed and deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. FoodService – Citrix Access Infrastructure

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler using the Dual-Zone reference architecture. NetScaler Gateway, Double-Hop SSL, SSL Offload, and redirection were deployed to support access to the newly Designed XenDesktop 7.8 environment to support over 5000 internal and external employees.  All technologies were designed and deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. Community Management – SharePoint Authentication and Chat Front-end

Designed and implemented a new high-security computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture to provide consolidated Authentication Services and front-end support for MiTel Chat. This implementation included one pair (2) NetScaler VPX devices in a single datacenter.  SSL Offload, and AAA Authentication services were deployed to support access to SharePoint and Chat applications to support internal and external employees and partners.  All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. Natural Resources – Web Farm Front-end and ICA Proxy

Designed and implemented a new high-security computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler SDX architecture using the Citrix Dual-Zone reference architecture. This implementation included one pair (2) NetScaler SDX 14020 devices with multiple NetScaler Instances in a single datacenter.  Double-Hop SSL, SSL Offload, Persistency Groups, and redirection were deployed to support access to internally-developed applications and five separate XenApp/XenDesktop Farms to support internal and external employees/partners.  All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Designed and implemented a single sign-on architecture based on Citrix NetScaler. This implementation included NetScaler VPX in a single datacenter.  SSL Offload, Load Balancing, Content Switching, and ICA Proxy were deployed to support unified single sign-on access to internally-developed applications and two separate XenApp/XenDesktop Farms to support internal and external employees/partners.  All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. Retail Auto Sales – Multi-Datacenter GSLB Design/Deployment

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture using the Dual-Zone reference architecture. This implementation included a pair (2) NetScaler SDX 11530 devices with multiple NetScaler Instances to replace a Pair of Citrix MPX8200, 12 F5 Partitions, and 14 Cisco ACE Contexts in the primary datacenter and a single (1) NetScaler SDX 11530 device with multiple NetScaler Instances in the DR Datacenter.  NetScaler Gateway, Double-Hop SSL, SSL Offload, and redirection were deployed to support access to the newly Designed XenDesktop 7.6, MS Lync, MS OWA/Exchange, MS SharePoint, and customized industry applications to support over 5000 employees.  All internal and external-facing NetScaler Gateway GSLB components are configured in an active/active configuration while all internal and external-facing load balancing configurations are configured in an active/passive GSLB layout. In the future, all GSLB configurations will be active/active. All technologies were designed and deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.

Local Government – High-Security Web App Load Balancing and Citrix Access Redesign

Designed and implemented a new high-security fully redundant computing architecture based on Citrix NetScaler architecture in Microsoft Azure. This implementation included a pair (2) of Azure cloud-based NetScaler devices.  NetScaler Gateway, SSL Offload, and redirection were deployed to support access to industry applications and desktops to support over 2000 employees.  All technologies were deployed to interface with current applications, networks, and infrastructure. We completed all aspects of the project from inception to back end support.
